As part of the updated educational program

On February 13, 2020, the Institute of natural science and geography hosted a meeting with subject teachers of secondary schools in Almaty as part of the «updated educational program».

Educational programs on specialties «chemistry, biology, geography» were presented, the general content and structure were discussed.

Director of the Institute for science and geography, professor Kulyash Baimuldinova, head of chemistry department, associate professor Zhazira Mukataevа, head of the biology department, professor Murat Zhaksybayev, head of the geography department, associate professor Gulmira Berdigulova and authors of educational programs, teachers: Kalampir Zhumagulov, Sholpan Tarbaeva, Dina Karazhanova, Asia Baimataeva, Dinara Kasymbekova, Zhanar Korganbaeva, Mahabbat Amantaeva and as well as chemistry teachers: Sarsenbayeva Marzhan, school-gymnasium №68, Sagidolda Bota, school №109, Biology teachers: Akilbayeva Ayman, school No. 145, Bukanbaev Nubanu, abeldinova the school-gymnasium №143, Geography teachers: Butlerov Kanat, school №108, Akhmedyarova Raisa, school-gymnasium №22 attended the event.

The following comments were made by subject teachers: the school curriculum is difficult for students to understand: there are many terms. To eliminate this drawback, university teachers recommended textbooks for school teachers and offered to study more methodological disciplines.
