Laboratory studies on natural science disciplines in the distance learning format

April 23, 2020 at the Institute of science and geography was the instructional webinar on the topic: «Conducting laboratory studies on natural Sciences in the format of distance learning», organized by the project Manager of a group of teacher training in General subjects, associate professor Sholpan Karbayeva.

Webinar participants: Vice-rector for academic аffairs of Abai KazNPU, professor Asan Satmurzaev, director of academic affairs Department, professor Khairulla Zhanbekov, Director of the Department of design of educational programs, professor A. Baidildina; director of Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography, professor Kulyash Kaimuldinova, head of the Department of chemistry and environmental education of the Herzen state University, professor Olga Rogovaya, heads of departments, teaching staff and representatives of other universities of Kazakhstan.

At the scientific and methodological webinar, the teaching staff made a report on the issues of distance learning of laboratory work in natural science disciplines. The webinar covered interesting topics.

Webinar presentations were made by teachers of the Department of chemistry: associate professor Aigul Nurakhmetova on the topic «Application of computer educational games in chemistry in distance learning», senior teacher Zhanar Zhaksibayeva on the topic «Demonstration chemical experiment in Online mode». Aigul Nurakhmetova showed that the use of game elements in chemistry lessons allows not only to compete among students, but also to test their knowledge of chemistry, as well as to increase interest in the subject. Zhanar Zhaksibayeva showed that with the help of demonstration chemical experiments, students can conduct remote laboratory work.
