«Chemistry of life» Science Decade

On April 4, 2022 in the framework of University Decade of Science, the scientific event «Chemistry of life» under the initiative of EP «Chemistry» of Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography and student research organization «Sparkle science of chemistry» was launched.

The main goals of this organization - promotion of science; increasing of general culture and intellectual and spiritual potential of students; support of young people involved in social and volunteering activities; assistance in solving global problems through cooperation; increasing professionalism of future scientists.

Plan of the Decade:
4.04 - Opening Ceremony;
5.04 - «Magic Puzzles» (foyer, 7th floor);
6.04 - Charity Event;
7.04 - Student Research Paper Competition «Scienceandlife». Criteria-research works of students;
8.04. 12:00 - Closing of the ten-day «Sparkle science of chemistry».

Rector Darkhan Bilyalov, Director of the Institute of Natural History and Geography Kulash Kaimuldinova, teachers of EP Chemistry, Geography and Biology, as well as students of the Institute participated in the opening of the ten-day chemistry science decade.

As Darkhan Bilyalov said, «Since chemistry is one of the fields that contribute greatly to the development of the country, I especially appreciate this field of science. People engaged in chemistry have a special outlook and soul». The rector also noted that the themes, goals and tasks of the scientific decade are very relevant and wished success to the staff in achieving the goals set, increased responsibility of teachers and students` interest in the chosen profession. Having acquainted themselves with the objectives of the student research organisation and the plan of the ten-day event, the participants of the event witnessed a demonstration of fascinating experiments on the theme «Wonders of Chemistry».
