An article by President of the country K. Tokayev «Abai and Kazakhstan in the 21st Century» is being discussed

On January 28, 2020, the Faculty for Foreign Citizens and Pre-University Training (Foundation) discussed an article by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, published in the press and dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the great enlightener Abai Kunanbayev «Abai and Kazakhstan in the 21st century». Dean of the faculty G.Z. Taubaeva spoke about the great steppe poet, philosopher and enlightener, the founder of Kazakh literature, about his works and their features. She also announced plans for upcoming anniversary events.

The head of the department, Professor S.B. Begalieva noting that it is the basis for promoting the great works of Abay in the field of domestic science and education, introducing teachers to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On the status of a teacher» and this is a new step towards improving the quality of education.

Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor N. Minaeva spoke about the purpose and objectives of the «State Program for the Development of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2025», as well as Ph.D., Professor B.S. Balgazina introduced the «Strategy of internationalization of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai for 2020-2025».
