Meeting with a Russian scientist

On March, 5, 2020, the Chair of Philological Specialties for Foreign Citizens of Faculty for Foreign Citizens and Pre-University Training (Foundation) held meeting for teachers and foreign students with the Professor Vladimir Sinyachkin, who working as Doctor of Philology, the head of the Chair t of Russian Language and Intercultural Communication of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the RUDN University (Russia).

First, he held a consultation with foreign doctoral students of the Chair on the topics of their research. Then the meeting turned informal, over a cup of tea. Professor Sinyachkin shared his experience of teaching Russian as a foreign language through the system of values of Russian culture, and spoke about the need to integrate psycholinguistic, linguistic and cultural approaches to the study of the Russian language.

Dean of the faculty Galiya Taubayeva stressed the importance of such meetings, as it contributes to the exchange of professional experience and strengthening of cultural and scientific exchange between partner universities.

The teachers thanked the Russian colleague for his visit and expressed hope for further cooperation.
