Digital Teacher - 2020

In connection with the transition to distance learning and the need to master digital tools for organizing productive online learning, the Abai KazNPU Testing Center organized the Summer Online School «Digital Teacher - 2020». Under the leadership of the head of the Testing Center Isabaeva Darazha, a team of mentors was formed from among the best graduates of the course «Digital transformation of education» A. Komissarov.

Teachers of the Department of Philological Specialties for Foreign Citizens took an active part in the Summer Online School. The course students acquired the skills to work with digital instruments (DownSub, Advego, Dandelion, Alot, CoreApp, Zoom, GoogleMeet, OBS-Studio, Edpazzle, QuizLET, Quizizz, Kahoot, Socrative), learned to: create video lectures on different platforms; conduct classes on various servers using multimedia elements; track a digital footprint; conduct experiments in virtual laboratories; compose tests and conduct surveys, reflection using digital platforms; analyze data and form rubrics, etc.

On July 23, the design works were defended. The teachers of our department worked in the following groups: group 7 «Student digital research work-club», mentor Uldakhan Shyngys (Balgazina Bakitgul, Shmakova Elena, Kosherbayev Rinad); group 8 «Pedagogical hackathon», mentor Elena Kiseleva (Begaliyeva Saule, Nurakhunova Guncham, Yerzhanova Feruza); group 11 «EDS Regulations», mentor Timur Akayev (Mamytbekova Lyailya).

Vice-rector for scientific work and international cooperation Kulsariyeva Aktolkyn, director of academic affairs department Zhanbekov Khayrulla, director of the design department of the educational department Baidildina Adilya noted the high level and practice-orientedness of all projects.

Thanks to the excellent organization of the courses, high competence, culture and care of mentors, the corporate spirit of the participants, the teachers of the department have successfully mastered the program and are focused on the use of digital technologies in teaching foreign students in the new academic year.
