Open adviser hour dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The purpose of this event was to cultivate patriotic feelings for the students` homeland, to develop a sense of civic duty, and responsibility towards the future. The event was designed to create a sense of responsibility in treasuring one`s history. More than 30 students and listeners from different countries and continents participated and helped in organizing the event.
The event was attended by: Dean of the Faculty, Galiya Taubayeva, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Saltanat Dzhunusova, head of the department, Saule Begaliyeva, Dauren Amangeldi, a teacher staff of the department and foreign students of the department.
During that day, students learned not only about the main national holiday of the Republic of Kazakhstan but also about the history of its occurrence, they also shared how Independence Day is celebrated in their homeland in the form of a presentation. Students presented how their country celebrates Independence Day in the Republic of Korea, China, The Republic of the Philippines, Ireland, Venezuela, Nigeria, Congo, Turkey and Turkmenistan.
Each group represented their country and, proudly shared about their Independence Day. Students and listeners spoke in the Kazakh, Russian and English languages. We all have learned a lot about the history of this very important national holiday - the Independence Day in different countries.
The leadership of the Faculty and the department made a decision to recognize each participant with letters of gratitude. The guests of the event praised the creativity and skills of the students who took part in organizing the holiday.
At the end of the event, students and teachers visited the KazNPU museum in the main building.
