Foreign students celebrated the New Year

On 25 December, 2018, at the department of philological specialties for foreign citizens was held performance dedicated to the New Year`s under the direction of PhD, associate professor Guncham Nurakhunova. The script was approved by the head of the department Saule Begaliyeva.

Foreign students of the 3rd course, the students who came to Abay University on the program of academic exchange, staged the play «Sneguroghka» based on the Russian folk tale. The artistic game of foreign students, fiery dances and New Year`s songs created an atmosphere of celebration and creativity. Students and listeners from China, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Madagascar, Congo, Venezuela in the Kazakh, Russian, English languages congratulated each other on the New Year, exchanged souvenirs, merrily and incendiary danced.

The dean of the faculty Galiya Taubayeva and the head of the department of philological specialties for foreign citizens Saule Begaliyeva congratulated the students on the holiday. They presented Letters of thanks to students who are actively involved in the social work of the faculty. By tradition, everyone was congratulated by Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden. The most active students on this day went home with sweets and gifts.
