Summer language school for foreign students-2019

At the Department of philological specialties for foreign citizens completed its work Summer language school for foreign students, which was held in the period from June to August 2019. The school had 47 students from China, Nigeria, Ghana, Congo, Madagascar, Philippines, Venezuela, Turkmenistan. Foreign students have completed a course of study of elementary, basic, first certification level of proficiency in Russian as a foreign language, in accordance with the standards of the curriculum requirements for foreign students.

Russian Russian language learning through familiarization with another culture, knowledge of traditions and country-specific realities provides acceleration of intercultural communication, comfortable stay in a foreign language environment allows to increase motivation and efficiency in the study of Kazakh and Russian languages as foreign languages. Therefore, at the end of each week, students under the guidance of teachers had the opportunity to undergo intensive speech practice in the language environment of the metropolis: played communicative situations in shopping centers, cultural and leisure activities, parks, metro and other facilities of the city. Students and teachers went on country excursions to the picturesque mountain gorge Alma-Arasan, in Ile-Alatau state Park.

At the end of the summer language school all students were solemnly awarded certificates.
