The formation of immunity against religious extremism and terrorism

On November 12, 2019, a meeting was held with students of the faculty of foreign and pre-university training of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, organized jointly by the Center for Monitoring and Analysis of the Department of Public Services of Almaty.

The purpose of the meeting: The formation of religious immunity against religious extremism and terrorism among the younger generation.

During the meeting, a member of the Information and Analytical Group, Senior Researcher of Department of Religious Studies of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies of Committee of Science, MES RK, PhD, Shagyrbay Almasbek spoke about religious movements that exist today, about various terrorist acts, provided specific data, monitoring analyzes. Themed videos were also shown and an explanatory conversation was held on the religious literacy of young people.

During the lecture, students received answers to their questions, the event was held as a bilateral dialogue.
