Topical issues of digital learning in the natural sciences were discussed

 

On April 9, 2020, the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University in cooperation with the Moscow City Pedagogical University held an international scientific and methodological webinar in order to exchange experience in digital learning in natural science disciplines. The initiative of this webinar was taken by the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography, Abai KazNPU.

 

The first vice-rector of Abai KazNPU Bektemesov Maktagali, director of the Institute of Natural Science and Sports Technologies of MСPU Stradze Alexander, vice-rector of Academic Affairs Satmyrzaev Asan, Vice-rector of science and international relations Kulsarieva Aktolkyn, Director of the Department of Academic Affairs Zhanbekov Khairulla, Director of the Department of Science Sakhiev Sayabek, Director of the Department of Informatization of Education Akhmetov Bakhytzhan, Director of the Institute of Natural Science and Geography Kaimuldinova Kulyash, lecturers of MCPU and Abai KazNPU and other universities in Kazakhstan took part in the webinar. During the webinar, current issues related to digital technologies in natural science education, digital transformation of geographical education, teacher-student interaction in the distance learning process, and assessment of students` academic achievements in distance learning were discussed.

 

Presentations were delivered by Sumatokhin Sergei, HOD of Biology and Human Physiology, Institute of Natural Sciences and Sports Technologies at Moscow City Pedagogical University; Shulgina Olga, HOD of Geography and Tourism, Institute of natural science and sports technologies at Moscow City Pedagogical University; Karbaeva Sholpan, Associate professor of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography at Abai KazNPU; Nogoev Yusup, doctorate of the Department of Chemistry, Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography at Abai KazNPU.
