Press conference on the topic "Eco-safety: the animal world is in your hands" was hosted

On April 23, 2024, the Almaty Zoo hosted a city press conference on the topic "Eco-safety: the animal world is in your hands". In the form of an information-digest, reports were made by employees of the Institute of Zoology and the Animal gene pool-M.A. Chirikova (deputy director of the Institute) and S.H. Zaripova (researcher at the lab. ornithology). During the event, a live exhibition with a demonstration of animals, a quiz and an excursion to the zoo were held. The organizers were the staff of the Almaty Zoo, headed by A.R. Rakhimova and teachers of the Department of Biology, Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography Batyrova K.I., Bekenova N.A., Shynybekova Sh.S.
