Career guidance work with schoolchildren

On November 24, 2022, professors of the Department of Biology of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography, Kunakbayev A.S., Babashev A.M., Tatarinova G.Sh., senior teachers, Tashenova G.K., Master Otarova N.I. and teacher Zharylkasynova Zh.M. carried out career guidance work in the graduating classes of CSI «Lyceum School №71» of the Department of Education of Almaty.

High school students, classroom teachers, representatives of the school administration, attended the event. During the meeting, students of grades 10-11 were provided with comprehensive information about KazNPU named after Abai, its institutes, faculties, specialties, which are taught at the oldest university in the country. Also, high school students were introduced to the wide opportunities for further study in the master`s and doctoral studies of the university after graduation from the bachelor`s degree.

Special attention was focused on information on the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography. The meeting was accompanied by a presentation and video clips. Answers were given to the questions of the school`s students about the principles of credit technology of education at the university, the payment procedure at the paid department, the possibility of obtaining a grant for training and the possibility of studying at foreign universities within the framework of academic mobility.
