Master class on the topic "Theory and practice of the development of natural science education"

One of the demands of the 21st century is the introduction of the integration of domestic and international practice into the learning process.   So, the master class held on April 08, 2024 by Professor of the Department of Biology of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography, Ph.D. Zhumagulova Kalampyr Abzhapparovna on the topic "Theory and practice of the development of natural science education" is a very urgent problem for future teachers.

The master class was attended by Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Biology, PhD M. B. Amanbayeva, senior lecturer, PhD T. Sekerova and 1st year undergraduates majoring in Biology. The master class considered theoretical issues on the goals and possibilities of developing natural science education based on a competence-based approach, approaches to choosing the content of integrated subjects, the conditions necessary for integrating the content of the subject, as well as examples of the content of an integrated biology lesson.

A comparative analysis of international natural science research has been carried out, and its results have been analyzed. In the course of the master class, the correspondence of tasks, data on school biology of the international PISA orientation was determined, the undergraduates completed group work.  During the group work, the students were very active and carried out the assigned tasks with interest. As a result of the master class, students shared their ideas based on the formation of feedback.
