Open Lesson of 4th-Year Students During Teaching Practice

On November 25, 2025, an open lesson was conducted at Gymnasium №36 named after B.Atykhanuly in Almaty by Nurailqyzy Nuray, a 4th-year student of the educational program 6B01513-“Biology” of Abai KazNPU, for the 10 “Ә” grade on the topic “Structural components of mitochondria and their functions.”

The lesson was attended by Head of the Biology Department of Abai University, PhD A.Maimataeva, нead of the UNESCO Chair, Professor A.Berikhanova, Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Psychology, international expert of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), independent consultant Clea Fernandez; biology department lecturers E.Kauynbaeva., T.Sekerova, A.Taldybai, R.Amanzholov, G.Kamiyeva, 4th-year student of the 6B01513-“Biology” program, A.Olzhatay, teachers of Specialized Lyceum №178 M.Alipova, N..Bakytzhan, G.Akyn and Vice Principal for Academic Affairs of Gymnasium №36, Zh.Ospanbayeva.

During her lesson, N.Nurailqyzy used artificial intelligence in accordance with the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan №592 dated July 24, 2024. She prepared video materials and tasks using Canva.AI, ChatGPT, and Fliki.ai, which supported the achievement of the learning objectives.

Independent consultant Clea Fernandez and the lesson participants highly praised the Lesson Study - based lesson. In turn, the students expressed gratitude to the university staff for the opportunity provided and to the university guest, independent consultant Ms.Clea Fernandez.
