On December 8, 2025, within the framework of career guidance activities, a meeting was held with students of grades 9–11 of Gymnasium No. 166 of Almaty by the staff of the Department of Biology of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography: Associate Professor, Candidate of Biological Sciences K.I. Batyrova; Candidate of Biological Sciences, Senior Lecturer G.K. Tashenova; and PhD, Senior Lecturer T.T. Nurkenov.

During the meeting, the students were introduced to the main areas of activity of the Department of Biology, with particular emphasis on the educational programs “6B05101 – Biology”, “7M05101 – Biology”, and “8D05101 – Biology”. The students received interesting and comprehensive information about the taught disciplines, a brief overview of modern research directions in biology, and future opportunities in the field.

Senior school students listened to the presentations with great interest and asked relevant and original questions. The meeting was held in a friendly and warm atmosphere, both from the students and the teachers of the gymnasium.
