An anniversary scientific conference was held

The Department of Pedagogical Disciplines at the University organized and held a jubilee student scientific conference as part of the «General pedagogy» section, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the great poet and philosopher Abai and the 1150th anniversary of the genius of world science and culture Al-Farabi. The event was held on the Zoom professional platform.

According to the university program of the 75th Scientific Conference of Students and Masters, more than one hundred students of 1-4 years of pedagogical specialties from five institutes with research reports on current problems and directions of modern pedagogical science took part in the work of this section. Such relevant topics were raised as the pedagogical ideas of Abai and Al-Farabi, the status of a teacher, pedagogical aspects of robotics, updated content of secondary education, national education, pedagogical experience of online activities of innovative schools, teenage cyber-bullying, professional competence of a teacher and environmental culture. The participants were particularly interested in reports on such technologies as cyber-pedagogy, quest, collaboration, distance learning, as well as new forms of organizing schoolchildren`s free time in the context of the pandemic, modern digital resources in Kazakhstan`s education, etc.

The work of the section «General pedagogy» was organized and conducted for the first time in online mode by Svetlana Zhumasheva, associate professor responsible for the research work of students.

Professors, teachers, trainees and members of the «Researchers of pedagogy» student scientific circle attended the conference. All participants gave a positive evaluation of the conference and adopted recommendations on the results of its work.
