Scientists of Abai KazNPU were awarded state awards

 

By the Decree of the Head of State K.-Zh.Tokayev for his great contribution to the socio-economic development of the country and special merits in scientific activity, prominent scientists were awarded state awards of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Among the awardees are professors of Abai KazNPU Smanov Baktiyar Urispayevich and Kosov Vladimir Nikolaevich.

 

Baktiyar Smanov    - Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of Abai KazNPU, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, academician of the International Academy of Sciences of Pedagogical Education (Russia), International Aitmatov Academy (Kyrgyz Republic), editor-in-chief of the journal «Bulletin of Abai KazNPU: Series «Philological Sciences», member of the Union of Writers and the Union of Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the editorial board collegiums of the magazines «Kazaktili men adebieti», «Mugalim» (Kyrgyzstan). Laureate of the International Prize named afterZhambyla Zhabayeva is the author of about 450 scientific papers (including 7 monographs, 15 textbooks and teaching aids).

 

Vladimir Kosov  -  Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, head of the scientific school in the field of thermophysics and theoretical heat engineering, technology. In 2017, he presented the author`s project «Device for separation of hydrocarbon gas mixture» at the world exhibition EXPO - 2017 in the national pavilion «Kazakhstan» in Astana.Leader of several projects of the MES RK, the author of more than 200 scientific articles, 4 monographs and 15 patents (including 1 international). Hirsch index on the international citation databases Scopus and Web of Science - 6/5.  He has trained 2 doctors of physical and mathematical sciences, 8 candidates of Sciences, 2 PhD doctors.
