First-year undergraduates reported on their work

On February 1, 2021, the undergraduates of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education of the first year of study met with the head of the department, Saule Abisheva, and with their scientific advisers at a meeting dedicated to their certification for the first semester of the current academic year.

The undergraduates presented written reports, told about their work, achievements and difficulties. Scientific advisers expressed their opinion on the activities of the freshmen. The certification was successful: each undergraduate looked at his work from the outside, the weaknesses and prospects became clear.

In the beginning semester, undergraduates have many interesting educational and scientific tasks. They will have to attend a number of theoretical courses in their specialty, including two disciplines of foreign visiting professor Irina Belobrovtseva (Tallinn University, Estonia). At the end of the academic year, each master`s student must prepare and defend a course work.

Thanks to such meetings, undergraduates feel the attention of the department to their work and understand the seriousness of the tasks they face.
