A graduate of Abai KazNPU was awarded a scientific degree at a Polish university

Graduate of bachelor`s and master`s degrees at Abai KazNPU, specializing in Russian language and literature, Maxim Ponomarenko completed his doctoral studies at the Pomor Academy in Slupsk (Poland) with a successful thesis defense. He was awarded the degree of Doctor of Humanities in the discipline «Literary criticism».

Maxim Ponomarenko is not only a talented young researcher, but also an enthusiast of cultural contacts between Kazakhstan and Poland. Working as a coordinator of the Abai Center of Kazakh Science and Culture at a Polish university, he does a lot to develop scientific and cultural interaction between our countries.
