International round table dedicated to the problems of school textbooks

On April 11, 2022, the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology, together with the Russian House in Almaty and the International Club of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature, held an International Round Table on the topic «Modern textbook on Russian language and literature - a source of quality knowledge at school».

Among the 115 participants of the meeting were teachers from Russia and various cities and villages of Kazakhstan, methodologists and university teachers, authors of textbooks on the Russian language and literature.

The presentations of the speakers were devoted to the structure, content, methodological apparatus of school textbooks. The authors of the textbooks commented on their methodological approaches, told teachers about the various possibilities of working with electronic textbooks.

Finishing the work of the two-hour meeting, the head of the department Saule Abisheva shared the proposal received from the teachers: it is necessary to organize on the basis of Abai KazNPU advanced training courses for teachers of the Russian language and literature of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
