Excursion to the M.O. Auezov House Museum

This year we celebrate the 125th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh writer, playwright and scholar Mukhtar Omarkhanovich Auezov.

On the threshold of such significant date on the April 19, 2022, the advisers of Russian Language and Literature Department of the Institute of Philology Bibizhan Abuova and Bakhyt Smagulova with their first year students groups have visited Mukhtar Auezov House-Museum.

The museum consists of 10 exhibition halls. During the event, research assistants of the museum gave a survey tour of exhibitions dedicated to the life and work of the writer.

The key aims of the visit were to arouse students` interest in the life and works of Mukhtar Auezov and to make them feel patriotism and love for their country. The young people particularly liked the Kazakh writer`s cozy home, his personal large library and the orchard where some of the trees were planted by him. The students learned many new things and had interesting impressions while visiting the M.Auezov House-Museum
