Pedagogical practice is a means of improving the quality of training of specialists

Russian Language and Literature Conference was held on January 20, 2023 at the Department of Russian Language and Literature, Institute of Philology, for third-year students of the specialties "Russian language and Literature", "Russian language and literature in schools with non-Russian language of instruction", "Russian as a foreign language".

The head of the department, Professor Saule Dzhunusovna Abisheva made a welcoming speech, congratulated the leaders and students on the beginning of the second stage of pedagogical practice, reminding that in the 4th year future graduates will have to pass the National Qualification Testing, an important stage in obtaining the qualification of a teacher. Therefore, students today need to seriously approach the accumulation of pedagogical work experience, study school teaching material in order to master the necessary competencies.

Responsible for the organization of pedagogical practice at the department, M.M. Khavaidarova acquainted those present with the lists of students`distribution, with the purpose and objectives of the practice, defined the tasks of the team of managers and interns for the next four weeks - from 23 January to 11 February 2023. The heads of the practice made their wishes and voiced the problems that need to be solved. The students got acquainted with the structure of the portfolio and the diary of pedagogical practice, which are the main documents, along with the video of the open lesson, which must be uploaded to the channel.

Raising the status of a teacher in the Republic of Kazakhstan requires pedagogical universities to improve the quality of professional training. Pedagogical practice is an important link in this training. We hope that a decent organization of practices will help students feel like real teachers.
