Representatives of the Department of Russian Language and Literature at Termez State University (Uzbekistan)

From 13 to 16 November 2024, representatives of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of Abai KazNPU Doctor PhD, Senior Lecturer Ongarbaeva A.T. and Candidate of Philological Sciences, Senior Lecturer Smagulova B.A. visited Termez State University (Uzbekistan) in the framework of academic mobility programme on the basis of the concluded memorandum of cooperation between the universities. During the visit senior lecturer Ongarbaeva A.T. gave lectures for undergraduates of the direction "Linguistics" on the discipline "Methods of linguistic research", senior lecturer Smagulova B.A. gave lectures for bachelors of the direction "Philology and language teaching (Russian language)" on the discipline "Modern Russian language", and also gave lectures for undergraduates of the direction "Linguistics" on the discipline "Methods of linguistic research".

Within the framework of the visit, an agreement was concluded between the Abai KazNPU Faculty of Philology and the Faculty of Foreign Philology of Termez State University. The initiative came from the Department of Russian Language and Literature of Abai KazNPU.

The aim of the agreement is to strengthen the partnership between the faculties and realise joint projects. The agreement covers a number of key issues such as development of joint educational programmes, organisation of scientific research, participation in conferences and seminars, as well as exchange of experience and information.
