Delegation of the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute visits Abai University

On December 5, 2025, within the framework of an international project, the Department of Russian Language and Literature of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University was visited by a delegation from the partner institution - the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute.

The leading scholars of the Institute delivered lectures for students on the art of rhetoric and on current issues related to the use of artificial intelligence in education and scientific research.

Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Russian Verbal Art and Intercultural Communication, Vladimir Ivanovich Annushkin, presented a lecture entitled "Philology - Verbal Art - Rhetoric - Speech Culture: A Look into the Future from the Past and the Present."

Tatiana Sergeevna Veselovskaya, Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Cognitive and Linguistic Studies, delivered a presentation on the topic "Artificial Intelligence in Educational Programs and the Use of AI in Scientific Research."

The students listened to the lectures with great interest, actively participated in discussions, and asked questions to the speakers, making the meeting both informative and engaging.
