Internship of undergraduates from M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan State University

From April 8 to April 18, 2019 undergraduates came from Uralsk, West Kazakhstan region, underwent an internship at the department of Russian language and literature.

On the first day of the internship, the guests met the department, teachers and received detailed advice from the head of the department, Doctor of Philology, Professor Saule Abisheva, who prepared the internship plan, including a variety of academic, scientific and social studies of undergraduates.

On April 9, the Department of Academic Mobility held a meeting with undergraduates of WKSU, at which the plans of the heads of the departments were presented and approved. After the meeting, our guests visited the Museum of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

Undergraduates attended classes in the disciplines of «Academic Writing» and «Active processes in modern Russian language». They took part in the scientific seminar of undergraduates of the department of Russian language and literature. Scholars of the department for interns held a consultation on the topics of their dissertations, where they discussed numerous issues and received recommendations for further work. Undergraduates from Uralsk were engaged in research work in the National Library, the National Center for State Scientific and Technical Expertise, the Republican Scientific and Technical Library, and Library of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

Guests from WKSU participated in all the activities of the Decade of Science, organized by the department. They visited the discussion platform «Children`s Books as Wings», conducted as a result of a second-year students` trip to St. Petersburg. Present at the poetic evening 2Poetry of the Silver Age».

The cultural internship program was also intense. Undergraduates attended the lecture of T.L. Frolovskaya 2Thus the candle did not go out ... Results of the Mongol invasion on Russia» in the Consulate General of the Russian Federation. Participated in a tour of the sights of the city of Almaty, which was organized by the department of academic mobility of the university; visited Koktobe; together with the head of the department visited the premiere of the play «Menin suіktі agataiym» (My dear uncle) in the M. Auezov Theater .

The successful completion of the internship was marked by the wish of a new meeting, when undergraduates would come to doctoral studies at the Department of Russian Language and Literature of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.
