Students and teachers of the department at a lecture by academician T. Muminov

On May 3, 2019, at the Sorbonna-Kazakhstan Institute, teachers of the Russian Language and Literature Department and first-year students of the specialty 5B011800 attended a lecture by Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor of the Phthisiopulmonology Department of S. Asfendiarov Kazakhstan National Medical University Talgat Muminov on the topic: «al-Farabi. Abai. Shakespeare. Medicine».

Lecturer - the author of monographs and textbooks awarded by the Gold Medal named after Albert Shvaitser for humanism and contribution to the development of medical science, - read a lecture in three languages. The main idea of the lecture was the idea of the need to enrich your mind with cultural and literary heritage. The comparative analysis of the works of Abai - the poet of the great steppe, Shakespeare - the great English poet and al-Farabi - the largest representative of Eastern philosophy were of great interest. In all these works the theme of healing of the body and soul is addressed.
