World tourism day

On September 27, 2021, in honor of the Internati World onal Tourism Day, a festive event was held jointly with the Department for Educational, Social Work and Youth Policy and the Institute of Natural Science and Geography.

The solemn event was opened by the Vice-Rector for Social Development Chingiz Nurlanov, who congratulated all those present on the holiday. Director of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography Kulyash Kaimuldinova noted the importance of the specialty tourism and thanked the organizers of the event.

During the event, students of the specialties «Tourism», «Restaurant business and hotel business» of the department of educational programs «Geography, Environment and Services» made virtual trips to India, Georgia, South Korea and Turkey, got acquainted with the culture of these countries. In addition, educational quizzes and games were organized among students.

Within the framework of the event, a presentation of the tourist club «Young nomad» was held in order to popularize and increase the prestige of the tourism profession. The leaders of the club, Young teachers Akbota Beken, Rasul Kudebayev, Madina Serik, introduced the plans of the tourist club for the upcoming period.

It is worth noting that the opening of this club is one of the tasks outlined in the strategic plan of our university.
