Training on the topic "HIV/AIDS" was held as part of the Dance4life project

On November 20, 2023, within the framework of the Dance4life project jointly implemented by the public fund "AFEW Kazakhstan" and the State AIDS Center under the organization of the Department of Education, Social Work and Youth Policy, a training was held for students on the topic "HIV/AIDS".

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his address to the people of Kazakhstan noted that the spread of drugs, including synthetic drugs, threatens the well-being of future generations. The reason is that the use of drugs among young people is on the rise.

At the meeting held to prevent drug addiction, alcoholism and HIV/AIDS among young people, specialists pointed out that HIV is one of the viruses that damage the immune system and are very dangerous for humans, and that creating a drug-free society is the duty of every citizen of Kazakhstan.

During the event, the staff of the AIDS center, carrying out campaign activities, urged students to form a healthy lifestyle and avoid bad habits. At the end of the training, students asked their questions and received detailed information about HIV/AIDS prevention.
