A new Student rector has been elected at Abai University

On November 21, 2024, a regular meeting of the members of the Student rectorate was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The main purpose of the meeting was to elect the Student Rector. During the meeting, the candidates, including Maksat Zhakau, presented their annual plans and shared their goals for the upcoming term. The candidates were elected through a closed voting process.

As a result of the voting, the Student rector was elected as Eldar Shabdenov, a first-year student of the Faculty of Philology. Additionally, Moldіr Qadylbek, a first-year student of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute, and Erdalet Dzhanabilov, a second-year student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Initial Military Training, were appointed as Vice-Rectors of the Student Rectorate.
