A spiritual and educational meeting on the theme «Independence and National Values» was held

On December 4, 2024, in honor of Independence Day, the National Educational Center «Hakim Abai» organized a spiritual and educational meeting on the theme «Independence and National Values».

The honored guest of the event was Berikzhan Almakhambetov, the chairman of the Veterans Council of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, «Honored Worker of Kazakhstan» of the National Academy of Higher Education, Honorary Academician of the Kazakh National Academy of Sciences, holder of the Order «Құрмет», Doctor of Educational Sciences, and Professor.

The event was organized with the aim of awakening national consciousness, strengthening patriotism among youth, revealing the historical significance of independence, and promoting national values. Attending the event were Maksat Zhakau, the university`s vice-rector for social development, Rakhimberdi Zhetybay, director of the department of social and youth policy, faculty members from the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, as well as around 100 active university students.

During the meeting, Professor Berikzhan Almakhambetov shared his experiences and achievements in the field of education, discussed competencies that are in demand in the modern labor market, and offered students advice on achieving new heights in science and education. He emphasized the role and importance of spiritual education for youth, the formation of moral principles, and the necessity of preserving and promoting national values.

At the end of the evening, participants were able to ask questions, share their opinions, and discuss current issues in the field of education.
