An historical and educational meeting was held on the topic «The Public and Political Activity of Oraz Jandosov»

In honor of the 125th anniversary of the prominent statesman Oraz Qiqymuly Jandosov, a meeting titled «The Public and Political Activity of Oraz Jandosov» took place. The event was organized by the National Educational Center "Häkim Abay" and the school for young poets named after Orazaly Dosbosynov.

The speaker of the event was Gulshat Nurymbetova, a Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, and Head of the Center for Studying the Materials on Political Repressions of the 20th Century at the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting was organized to celebrate the personality of Oraz Qiqymuly Jandosov, who made an invaluable contribution to the organization of the administrative state system and the establishment of the national education sector in Kazakhstan. Also participating was Rakhymberdy Zhetybay, the director of the Department of Social and Youth Policy.

During the meeting, Gulshat Nurymbetova shared new information based on archival materials related to the period of Oraz Jandosov`s activities. She spoke about his life, his role in the establishment of the state management system of the republic, the formation and development of educational and gender policies, as well as his contributions to land and water reforms and his special role in political, social, and international activities.

Participants expressed their pleasure in gaining new insights into the life and work of Oraz Jandosov, shared their opinions, and discussed the importance of preserving national values for future generations.
