Spartakiad «Health day-2019»

In order to increase interest in sports, promote a healthy lifestyle and team cohesion, on October 26, 2019, Spartakiad «Health day-2019» was held among the teaching staff and students of the university.

The sporting event was attended by 8 teams from eight institutes and one faculty, which totaled more than 400 people.

Competitions were held in futsal, volleyball, table tennis, chess, togizkumalak, tug of war, weight-lifting, arm wrestling and athletics.

In his welcoming speech, the university rector Takir Balykbaуev thanked the active students, staff, teaching staff and the organizing committee.

According to the results of the competition in the team competition, the third place was taken by the team of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology with 58 points, which was awarded a cash prize of 50,000 tenge. The team of the Institute of History and Law with 75 points won the II place and was awarded a cash prize of 70,000 tenge. The team of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics won I place with 79 points, and a cash prize of 100,000 tenge.

The most active participants in the Olympics were awarded the nominations «Best player» and cash prizes in the amount of 10,000 tenge, as well as special diplomas from the rector of the university.

In addition, as part of the sporting event, the competitions «Best institutional flashmob», «Voice of the Spartakiad» were organized among fans, and winners were awarded cash prizes on behalf of the student union of the university.
