Digital Citizenship of the Turkish World
The project also has a practical purpose - to activate and promote the cultural and tourist potential of the Turkic countries. According to the agreement reached during the meeting, each university participating in the project will present an elective course on these topics for students. Students who have shown the best grades in the course of training will have the opportunity to study and relax for free on the «summer course» on the campuses of Turkish universities participating in the project during the summer holidays. At the webinar, the signing ceremony of the digital «Protocol of Cooperation» was held, and an agreement was reached to hold the next meeting offline in September this year in Bishkek. At the offline meeting, the Protocol on Cooperation will receive the status of a full-fledged Agreement, and the participating universities will begin to form their curriculum and the contingent of students and teachers on the basis of the action plan set out in today`s protocol.
The international webinar was organized and provided with simultaneous translation of Turkish-Kazakh-Turkish, Russian-Kazakh-Turkish languages by teachers of the Turkish language department Gulnaz Satbay, Nurzhamal Kospaganbetova, Yergali Esbosynov. The teachers completed the relevant documentation in Kazakh and foreign languages and translated into Kazakh the protocol of intent of the international project, the participating institutions, as well as their goals and interests. The webinar was held in a conscientious, constructive, businesslike atmosphere and received a high level of support from the leadership of Abai University.
