Foreign training of master`s degree students

Second-year master`s degree students of the specialty «7М01703-Foreign language: two foreign languages» of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education within the framework of the agreement on the exchange of master`s degree students between Abai University and Ahi Evran University from October 24 to November 2, 2021 undergo foreign internships. They arrived at the Department of Turkish Language and Literature, Faculty of Humanities, Ahi Evran University (Kursehir, Turkey).

The exchange of master`s degree students through academic mobility between the Chair of Oriental Philology and Translation and the Faculty of Humanities of Turkish University has been carried out from the 2017-2018 academic year, initiated by the volunteer teacher Dr. Osman Kabadaya. This agreement was worked out and expanded and it became possible to exchange master`s degree students and doctoral students under the international program Mevlana and Erasmus + K107 from the 2020-2021 academic year. The successful and painstaking work of the teachers of the department Gulnaz Satpay, Nurzhamal Kospaganbetova, Dinara Ashimova and Ergali Esbosynov played an important role in promoting this project.

On October 24, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities of Ahi Evran University, Professor Dr. Nadir Ilhan, Deputy Dean, Professor Dr. Ahmet Dogan, Head of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature, Professor Dr. Salahattin Bekki and teacher, Professor Ahmet Ary received our master`s degree students to talk and earn internship certificates. Second-year master`s degree students of the specialty 7M01703 - Foreign language: two foreign languages Aida Samat, Sholpan Tumarbekova and Ardak Tlendiev, expressively read poems in Kazakh and Turkish languages, and also presented informative slides in Kazakh and Turkish about Abai University. The exemplary performances of our master`s degree students on behalf of our university aroused the interest and attention of teachers and students of Ahi Evran University.

The senior lecturer of the Chair of Oriental Philology and Translation Dinara Ashimova, who spoke at the events, spoke in detail about the specialties and training programs of our institute and chair.
