Open educational lesson «Volunteering: its meaning and values»

On November 1, 2021, as part of educational work at the Abai KazNPU, an open educational lesson was held on the topic «Volunteering: its significance and values». Students of groups 101 and 102 of the specialty «Teacher of the Oriental (Korean) language with knowledge of English» of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education learned the history of the development of volunteering, its role in the development of society and what voluntary organizations there are in Kazakhstan.  Students took an active part in the discussion, some students prepared their presentations and videos on a given topic.  Here are short excerpts from the students` speeches:

«Volunteering is not helping others without receiving monetary rewards from society, it is warmth emanating from the depths of your heart. Volunteering only helps others when it comes from the heart. A volunteer has an example of generosity and it takes courage and courage to become a volunteer. People who volunteer to help others and contribute to the development of society without any reward are the mirror of our society.  As the number of volunteers increases, our country will prosper».
