Talapker - 2022: online conference with school directors

On 14 February, 2022, as part of career guidance and the implementation of the «Talapker - 2022» project, senior teachers of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education Zh.M. Yelemesova and G. Satbay held an online conference on the ZOOM platform on the topic «Kasip - bolashakakа bastar zhol» with the participation of the director of the secondary school named after I. Altynsarin of the Irgiz district of the Aktobe region A.K. Nysanbayeva. Students of the 11th grade of these schools were provided with general information about Abai KazNPU and detailed information about the specialties of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation in the structure of the university, and relevant presentations and videos were shown for wider acquaintance.

The meeting was attended by the director of the Center for Career Guidance and Admission of Students of Abai KazNPU, N.Auesbekuly, Head of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation, Professor K.Kh.Abdrakhmanova, Associate Professor E.M.Moldasanov, senior lecturers of this department, N.R. Shengelbayeva, L.T.Duisenova, E.Zh.Kanseiitova.

Data on the place and international relations of the university in the world market among universities aroused increased interest among students. To questions of interest to them, such as translation, information on Oriental and foreign languages, general social benefits and opportunities for obtaining grants, allocation of places in hostels, members of the career guidance forum gave detailed answers.

The heads of these institutions from two regions of Kazakhstan stated that they have graduates who want to enter Abai KazNPU, not a few, and noted that such information should be shared with other schools in the country.
