Seminar of the teacher of Abai KazNPU in KazETU

On 8 April, 2022, at the invitation of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Kazakhstan Engineering and Technology University (KazETU), Senior Lecturer of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation of Abai KazNPU Ergali Esbosynov organized a special seminar «Science Day: the process of teaching Oriental languages - the dynamics of teaching the Turkish language».

The seminar was organized as part of the event «The 14th April- Day of Science», which was attended by graduate students and faculty of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities. E. Esbosynov reported on the process of teaching the Turkish language at Abai KazNPU and the formation of a contingent of students and master`s degree students. The report also discussed the topic «From a digital applicant to a digital student», talked about free educational grants provided by the Ministry of Education of Turkey to foreign citizens, including Kazakhstan (address and procedure for posting relevant information, control and ability to work with the website of the ministry).

The seminar was attended by Dr. Selenay Koshumcu, a senior volunteer teacher at the Department of the Turkic Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi, who made a presentation «Learning Turkish language in Kazakhstan: problems and ways to solve them». Also, associate professor of KazETU Zhanyl Tukebayeva, professor Evgenia Utesheva made a presentation. The head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences of KazETU, Alima Nurtazaeva, thanked those present and the speakers, expressing gratitude for the informative reports. At the end of the event, Yergali Esbosynov and Selenai Koshumdzh were presented with letters of thanks from the rector of KazETU Gulnara Sarsenbekova.

The seminar was productive and informative, the participants received a charge of enthusiasm and expressed their hope for a new meeting.
