Uyghur traditions: theory and practice

On October 30, anthropologist Rune Stenberg, a scientist at Palacky University (Czech Republic), gave a public lecture on the topic "Uyghur traditions: theory and practice" at the Chair of Eastern Philology and Translation. In his lecture, the scientist shared his thoughts on the theoretical foundations of the peculiarities of Uyghur people traditions and their manifestations in everyday life.

The lecture was attended by 1st and 3rd year students of the specialties "Uyghur language and literature, English language", "Foreign language: two foreign languages" and head of the chair N.N.Konkabayeva, teacher of Arabic language K.H.Abdrakhmanova, teachers of Uyghur language and literature Sh. Baratova, H. Masimova, R. Arziev.

At the end of the lecture, the head of the chair N.N. Konkabayeva, thanked Rune Stenberg for holding an open lecture and presented a letter of gratitude and a memorable gift on behalf of the university.
