Results of pedagogical practice of master`s degree students-translators

The 2nd year master`s degree students in specialty "7M02302-Translation " of the Institute of Philology under the guidance of Doctor of Philology, Professor A.K. Zhumabekova underwent pedagogical practice from October 16 to November 11, 2023.

The basis of the practice was the bachelor`s degree: the practice was carried out in classes with 1st, 2nd and 4th year students of the specialty "6B02302 - Translation Studies" of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation of the Institute of Philology.

The orientation conference took place on October 13, 2023: the goals, objectives and structure of pedagogical practice were explained to the master`s degree students. On November 7, master`s degree students began conducting open classes. According to the requirements of the teaching practice program, they had to attend open lessons and evaluate them. All master`s degree students held open classes: Meruert Asanova - "Problems of translating non-equivalent vocabulary" - 07.11.23, 4th year; Aisulu Abdukarimova - "Concepts of linguistic translation theory" - 07.11.23, 1st year.

At the final conference, the master`s degree students` grades were announced and practice documentation was checked. The master`s degree students showed a high level of theoretical training, acquired good practical experience in teaching, and are ready to teach translation disciplines in the future at the baccalaureate and college levels!
