Opening of a branch of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation

On February 9, 2024 in the school-gymnasium № 153 named after A.Rozybakiev by the forces of the management of the Institute of Philology and the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation for the purpose of cooperation and development of scientific-methodological and practical contacts in the field of education held the opening of a branch of the department, designed to provide assistance and support in professional and cultural-educational activities.

The event was attended by the director of school-gymnasium № 153 Sh.N.Umarova, teachers and students of the school, director of the Department of Academic Affairs of KazNPU named after Abai H.N.Zhanbekov, director of the Institute of Philology A.V.Tanzharykova, deputy director for scientific work A.A.Naimanbaev, head of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation N.N.Konkabaeva and associate professor R.U.Arziev.

The main task of the branch is to provide assistance and methodological help in organising and conducting methodological and pedagogical seminars, round tables on linguo-methodology and topical problems of Eastern and Western languages. In the future it is also planned to organise annual pedagogical practice on language disciplines with the students of Abai KazNPU on the basis of this school.

The management of the university hopes for further successful strengthening and development of educational and pedagogical co-operation between the teams of the Department of "Oriental Philology and Translation" and the school-gymnasium named after A. Rozybakiev.
