Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan

7th December, 2017 in honor of the approaching date, significant for the people of the republic, by the forces of undergraduates of the 2nd course and students of specialties supervised by the Department of Oriental Languages and Translation was organized an educational and artistic event.

The event was opened with a congratulatory speech by the head of the chair, Professor Kniyaz Mirzoev. In particular, he noted that in the 26 years of independence, the country underwent significant changes in all spheres of public life. All the successes and achievements, the people of the republic are led by President Nursultan Nazarbayev. Thanks to his wise, consistent policy, our country is today known and recognized all over the world.

The holiday was continued by amateur performances: poems and prose in Kazakh and Chinese, an informative quiz on "Independent Kazakhstan" followed by the presentation of prizes, songs in German and Kazakh, and a small exhibition of drawings of first-year students of the specialty was presented to the attendees «Translation».

The solemn event was completed with congratulations of students and teachers of the chair in both state and foreign languages.
