Language is the golden bridge of friendship

On the 30 October, 2019 Senior Lecturer, Department of Oriental Philology and translation Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education Shariyam Baratova held an event on the theme: «Language is the golden bridge of friendship». It was carried out in accordance with the implementation work plan. State program for the development and use of languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan on 2011-2020 and the work plan of the department for educational work at 2019-2020 academic year with the participation of teachers of the Department of Turkic, Arabic, Chinese, Uyghur languages, as well as students, learning English, French and German as a second foreign language.

The purpose of the event is to explain to the young generation the merits of each language, including state language, increasing the level of knowledge of the language, familiarization with its social and social function. In its turn students read thematic verses and performed patriotic songs. It is noteworthy that students showed brilliant knowledge not only Kazakh language, but also Arabic, Turkish, Uyghur, English, Chinese, German and French.

Head of the Department Ergali Yesbosynov, Senior Lecturers Raya Orazova, and Svetlana Kopbaeva, noting the importance of this event, expressed gratitude to the organizer and students. Shariyam Baratova also thanked all students for their help and active participation in this holiday.
