74th Scientific and Student Conference of Abai KazNPU

On 18 November, 2019 the 74th scientific and student conference was held at the  Abai KazNPU. The conference is dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet, enlightener Abai Kunanbaev.

At the plenary session, the 2nd year master`s degree student of the specialty «Translation» Ayzhan Auelbekova successfully made a presentation «Иудаизм, христиандық пен исламдағы 4000 жылдық ізденіс: Құдайтану баяны» оқулығының ағылшын тілінен қазақ тіліне тікелей аудару ерекшеліктері».

According to the plan of the conference, further work on the section «Абай және аударма»was organized and conducted by teachers of the specialty «Translation», Chair of Oriental Philology and Translation, Institute of philology and multilingual education.

In total, 15 reports were heard, of which 10 were master`s degree students and 5 - bachelorette students. Most of the speeches were dedicated literary translations of Abai`s works by famous translators in English, German, Uyghur and Turkish.

Speakers enthusiastically, giving specific examples, informed students not only about the most successful translations, but also shortcomings literary translation, which is very pleased with their mentors.

2nd place - Aydina Adilbekova (scientific supervisor, Candidate of the philological sciences Ergali Yesbosynov), Nauryzbay Abdrasil (scientific supervisor, doctor of philological sciences, professor Kniyaz Mirzoyev), Balzhan Duysenbek (scientific supervisor, Candidate of the philological sciences Nurzhamal Shengelbaeva), Kuanysh Beibit (scientific supervisor, master, lecturer Aigerim Sebdaiyrova); 3rd place - Ayaulym Sauat (scientific supervisor, Candidate of the philological sciences Masimova Halminam), Anar Kasymzhanova (scientific supervisor,  senior lecturer, master Kulzagi Ibragimova).
