Refresher courses for teachers of the Republic of Kazakhstan

From June 15 to June 30, 2022, the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology organized and conducted advanced training courses for teachers of Kazakhstan on the topic "Fundamentals of Philological Education".

39 teachers and university professors from Almaty and Almaty region, Atyrau and Atyrau region, Taraz and Zhambyl region, Shymkent, Temirtau, West Kazakhstan and Akmola regions became interested in the course program. After all, the topics of the lectures of fourteen professors and associate professors of the department are related to issues that are relevant for the teacher: innovative teaching methods, linguistic and literary analysis of the text, the use of digital educational resources, improving the reading activity of students, etc.

After each lesson, all course participants received an extensive package of methodological and didactic materials. A video recording of the daily five-hour sessions is available to educators on Google Drive. Each course participant received a certificate.

Students of the courses speak with gratitude and admiration about the deep content of the classes and the methodological skill of the lecturers. The successful pilot version of the courses conducted this academic year will become the basis for the work of the department in this direction in the future.
