Essay contest on the topic «Language is a mirror of society»

From September 5 to September 15, 2022, the Department of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan organized an essay contest among students of the 1.2 course of the university on the topic «Language is the mirror of society», dedicated to the Day of Languages - September 5 and the birthday of A. Baitursynov.

The main goal of the Essay contest is to form a sense of respect for the state language in the process of strengthening friendship and unity between representatives of nationalities living in an independent country. The place of language in society, the explanation of its functional significance in each sphere. Fostering respect for the conscious awareness of the importance of the state language, the development of high social activity and creative potential among young people. As a result of the inspection and evaluation of students` works by members of the commission established by a special order:

III place-Sabina Salamatova 2nd year student of the Institute of Philology.

During the awarding period, the head of the department, Gulzhikhan Shaharman, conducted a general analysis of the completed papers that met the basic requirements for essay writing, and a congratulatory speech was made by Shyngys Nurlanov, vice-rector for social development of the university, who presented the winners with diplomas and letters of thanks.
