Educational event «Wonders of the Motherland»

On October 22, 2022 in the framework of the celebration of the Day of the Republic, Head of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation, Institute of Philology N.N. Konkabayeva, senior teachers A.M. Almabekova, A.N. Raeva and responsible advisers A.S. Zhumabayeva, S. Meirhan conducted a planned by the Institute educational lesson with 1st year students of the specialty «Oriental languages teacher with English» on the theme «Wonders of the Motherland» and visited the Central State Museum of Kazakhstan.

They visited expositions «Hall of paleontology and archeology», «Historical and ethnographic hall» and «Modern New Kazakhstan», and made the review of life and art of our country, special interest was caused by the handicraft. Employees of museum conducted acquaintance and acquainted our students with historical heritage of Kazakhstan, ancient crafts and traditions. If our past is history, then our future is youth! Organizers of the event urged freshmen to remember the history of the country, to be patriots, intelligent and serious people.
