An invited foreign lecturer will conduct lectures for students, undergraduates and doctoral students

One of the important directions of scientific and educational activities of Abai KazNPU is to attract foreign specialists to give lectures.

From November 2 to 30, 2022, the Department of Physics at the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics professor Holm Altenbach, distinguished scientist in the field of mechanics of materials and structures, continuum physics, editor in chief of the scientific journal «ZAMM - Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics / Zeitschrift für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik», member of the European Association of Mechanics, foreign member of the Russian Academy of Sciences and National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, will deliver a lecture. The program of stay of Prof. Altenbach at our university involves conducting training seminars for young teachers related to scientific research on the topics of dissertations, consulting doctoral students and undergraduates.
