The great teacher of the nation

On November 25-26, 2022, the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University organized an international scientific and practical conference «The pedagogical heritage of Akhmet Baitursynuly, problems of modern education: present and future», dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the teacher of the Nation A. Baitursynuly.

Conference directions:
1. Akhmet Baitursynuly is a great personality and the heritage of the nation;
2. Pedagogical heritage of A. Baytrusynuly: past and present;
3. The main trends in the development of modern education;
4. National values: actual problems of education and upbringing.

The conference was moderated by the Head of the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy, Associate Professor U.K. Kyyakbayeva.

The moderator of the conference was the head of the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, as. professor U. K. Kyyakbayeva.

At the opening ceremony of the conference, D. Bilyalov, Chairman of the Board-Rector of Abai KazNPU, made a welcoming speech, wishing the participants success in the work of the conference.

The Director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor G.A.Abayeva and Chief Specialist of the Language Policy Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Philological Sciences A.K.Koken made welcoming remarks.

The speakers shared new knowledge and cognitive thoughts about the life and work of the teacher of the Nation A. Baitursynuly.

The scientific report of Professor of the Kazakh-British Technical University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Dauletbekova Zhanat Turarbekovna on the topic «Fundamental theories of learning in the works of Akhmet Baitursynuly» and professor of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Philology Zhubai Orynai «Reflection of modern new paradigms in the works of A.Baitursynuly» were prepared using new data from the works of A.Baitursynuly where the fate and future of the nation are emphasized, the fruits of A.Baytursynuly`s selfless work done to ensure that the future generation speaks their native Kazakh language.

These reports contributed to igniting the nationalist fire in the veins of students and awakening love and patriotism for the language, country, homeland, national science.

Within the framework of these events, the organizers and participants of the conference expressed their great gratitude and sincere appreciation to the domestic scientists participating in the conference and scientists from foreign countries.

During the conference, an exchange of scientific experience took place between leading scientists- professors of the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy and scientists-teachers of Fergana State University.
