Open Doors Day for school students

On February 9, 2023 an Open Day was held for students of 11th grades of Gymnasium No. 12 named after Sh. Ualikhanov, organized by the student government «Qoldau» and the «Sparkle Science of Chemistry» club of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography with the aim of vocational guidance work. Students were shown interesting chemistry experiments in the subjects of inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry and organic chemistry.

The event was organized by Tleules Takhatbek, a 3rd year student of chemistry and biology, during his pedagogical practice. The laboratory work was supervised by Zhanar Zhaksibayeva, senior teacher of the Department of Chemistry, with the assistance of members of the «Sparkle Science of Chemistry» club.

As part of the event, the Director of the Institute Kulyash Kaimuldinova shared with the students information about the opportunities of the university and the conditions of admission to university.

An excursion to the university museum was also organized for students. The students thanked the management of the institute and shared bright impressions.
